Okay, first let me explain the awesomeness that is kaciart:

She did the exact colors of FDNY’s uniform. She nailed them right on the head. Without a prompt or peep from me or anyone, that these are NYC’s colors. 

When I saw that she was gonna color it, I got super excited and happy, but I have to admit, I assumed she was going to go for the traditional yellow uniform that is first instinct when it comes to Firefighters. But when I saw the cursor start coloring black?

I am touched, truly seriously touched in a special place deep in my heart. This uniform, this particular New York City uniform and everything it stands for are very special to me. I get many feelings from it, especially with the 10th anniversary of 9/11 so recently past.

I seriously lit up like a bulb when I saw these colors. So to my dear Miss Julie: Thank you so very very much! You can’t know how much this means to me.

“Happy day” - A tumblr children’s book (click here for fitting music)

Once upon a time, a young prince asked his loving boyfriend out on a date.
The pair took hands and strolled down the long road to their favourite cafe, enjoying the sunshine on their noses.

“One strawberry shake!” exclaimed the little prince with excitement.
“We’ll be sharing. Two straws, please!” said Teddy, smiling. He loved to share his favorite food with his boyfriend.

The waitress noted their order and left.
“I love dresses!” a fast passer-by shouted. 

Thinking very hard, Billy wanted to share his love with his brave knight.
“I know!” Billy thought to himself and removed one of his red shoes, touching Teddy’s leg softly. He had seen other couples doing that! It’s called playing footsie.

Just then, the waitress returned with their milkshake.

“Here is your order, sirs” the woman said as she placed the glass down in front of them.

“This is bigger than normal!”
Both were surprised by the large glass, eyes sparkling with delight. 
“We will have to thank her for that when we’re finished!” stated Teddy. After all, it was important and polite to thank people for their kindness.

They both took a sip of their favorite milkshake. As always, it tasted very delicious!
Because of that delightful flavour on their tongues, they smiled happily at each other.

But Teddy had something more important than the strawberry shake. Much more important.
The boy slipped his foot out of the green sandle and rubbed his foot against Billys, returning his love for him that way.

“We shouldn’t let this melt,” Billy stated. Both nodded in agreement and began to enjoy their dessert.

Once their shake was finished, both frowned. This meant their date was nearing its end.

“I will walk you home, prince” said Teddy. He was a proud boyfriend.

After paying for their treat and leaving a tip for the friendly waitress, both of them stood up. Billy took Teddy’s hand as they walked pass a angry brawny man on a strange bike.

Billy and Teddy arrived to Billy’s castle.

As they said goodbye, Teddy gave Billy a peck on his lips. Since Billy loved his brave knight very much, he kissed him back shyly, a blush all over his face and little nose.

“Goodnight, My Sweet Prince.”

And they lived happily ever after.
