I was asked to draw the new DCU Red Robin and I finally have a little extra time in between issues of Huntress so I sketched up a few small pieces. Hope you like it.

I didn’t get much of a chance to take pictures this Fan Expo but here are the ones I got. I wanted to say thanks to everyone that stopped by for sketches, commissions and autographs especially those of you who came by to give me the postcards and prints, plushies and the cosplayers who used my art as inspiration for theirs. Thank you everyone :D
PS - I relly need to lose some weight, I look terrible in those pictures….
“PS - I relly need to lose some weight, I look terrible in those pictures…”That’s just … rude, Marcus
You don’t look terrible. You look good. And so does the other wonderful people in those pictures who weight even more than you. You’re absolutely right. I think the deadlines are getting to me and haven’t had the chance this past year to do anything physical which makes me grumpy
Don’t be grumpy! After the deadlines you’ll have time, right? So don’t worry. We all love you anyway!
Also: Your hat suits you pretty well <3.

LOOK AT WHAT I GOT FROM THE CON!! 8D
I can’t scan the whole thing on because it’s so big~!Marcus To is a brilliant person and he’s such a bro.
He offered me some of his pizza.
Seriously, he is straight up awesome and super considerate and DC is losing a real big asset if they don’t put his on a book after the fifty two.
Oh Marcus

| For all those who have asked, unfortunately I am not apart of the reboot at DC. I can't go into details right now so I have to leave it at that. I want to thank you all for the kind words to my work and for sure you'll see me again on a DC book. | |
| The Agnes Garbowska says: | |
| - I personally think this is one of the biggest mistakes DC did. With all this talk about attracting a new and younger audience they don't include an artist who attracts this kind of audience to comics. I have been lucky enough to sit beside Marcus at many shows and over 90% of the people that come to his table are teenagers and young adults. At least 70% (if not 80%) of this are girls. They love how he portrays Red Robin, they love his work. His brings the youthfulness that I feel DC is lacking. I am not saying this because Marcus is a close friend of mine, I am saying this from what I see with my own eyes. I feel that if the re-lance books don't give some of their books the feel that Marcus was able to bring to Red Robin they will not tap into youth and female audience the way Marcus has. I say, we keep retweeting and show DC what a mistake they have made. Better give him something super cool after this. - Agnes. Sorry Marcus I had to say something, I am both a friend and a fan. | |
| The David Cutler says: | |
| What she said. I guarantee Marcus To's Red Robin run brought more young and female readers into the DCU than DC will net with the recent changes. When they were first announced, my thought was, "well, they'll put Marcus on Teen Titans, obviously." And today... | |
| Anyway, much love to Marcus and his ridiculously awesome Red Robin work. One of my favorite artists, one of my favorite humans. Straight up, little dogs. | |
| Oh gosh, THIS^^^^ a million times over. I've glanced at DC books in the past, but the very first DC series that caught my eye that I truly read from month to month was Red Robin. Red Robin was my entry into comics. Want to know why Red Robin captivated me so much? Marcus To's art. I am a young adult and a female that grew up in the world of anime aesthetics and youthful characters. Superhero comics turn me off because most of the time, even children are depicted as unrealistic beefcakes. I really don't find it appealing at all. However, Marcus To's art is a happy medium between the two styles. He still draws superheroes, but his style exudes youthfulness and the kind of aesthetic that kids today like so much. That is why he is my favorite DC artist. And DC took him away from their reboot plan. : | ( DC, do you even know what kids like today? |
